Basic tracks for “Dirty Ol’ Sunshine.” Crumlish on uke and vocals. Wade on Les Paul guitar. Brodnitz on electronic keyboard. Gans on bass. Crumlish recut his uke rhythm part. Gans, Brodnitz, and Wade added background vocals to “Saint Lucifer.”

Synced all instruments to drums on “Dirty Ol’ Sunshine” and “Saint Lucifer.” Reamped the uke on “Sunshine.” Gans added guitar solo to “Sunshine.” Added bass and guitar overdubs by Wade (recorded elsewhere) to “Lucifer,” sculpted guitar and other parts, brought piano up in the mix, muted electric guitar in the early verses.

Basic tracks for “Giving Zoo Wolves Lessons in Music.” Crumlish on electric ukulele and vocals, Gans on electric guitar with his effects pedals rig, Wade on bass, and Navarrette on congas and shakers. Overdubbed lead vocals after instrumental take.

Basic tracks for “The Ghost Door.” Crumlish on electric uke (doubled). Gans and Wade on acoustic guitars (played together). Dropped second uke part. Panned guitars left and right. Cassel advising on arrangement.

Basic tracks for “Some Other Time.” Crumlish on vocals, ukulele (solo). Wade on guitar. Brodnitz on keyboard. Cassel on bass.

Javier Navarrette added percussions (congas and shakers) to “All I Know,” “The Long Haired Kings,” and “Down to the Mountain.”

Goody played bass on “Carnegie Hill” and recut the bass part for “Memory Lane.” Gans added guitar fills to “Carnegie Hill,” added a rhythm guitar part to “Down to the Mountain,” and played a solo on “All I Know.”

Crumlish recut lead vocal on “Memory Lane,” “All I Know,” and “Down to the Mountain.” Added uke fills and solo on chorus from instrumental break (later cut). Gans added baritone guitar solo to “Down the Mountain” over the instrumental verse.

Boisen added pedal steel guitar to “Long Haired Kings” and “Moses” and “Ghost Door,” and lap steel guitar to “Moses” and “Down to the Mountain.”

Joe Kyle Jr. added upright bass to “Long Haired Kings,” “Moses,” and “Ghost Door.” Crumlish overdubbed uke fills on “All I Know.”

Joe Craven added mandolin to “Sham Song,” “Long Haired Kings” and “Moses,” fiddle to “Memory Lane” and “Down to the Mountain,” bongo to “Memory Lane” and “Ghost Door,” and percussion on “Memory Lane,” “Moses,” and “Ghost Door.” Photos by J. Goody:

Kollmeyer added vocals to “All I Know,” “Sham Song,“ “Carnegie Hill.” Gans added vocals to “Sham Song.” Crumlish added an ad lib vocal to “Sham Song.”

Gronquist, Kessler, and Kollmeyer added harmony vocals to “Down the Mountain.”

Final mixes of “Saint Lucifer” and “Long Haired Kings.” Brough new guitalele to studio to show it off:

Re-amped guitar and uke through Headstrong small amp, edited the track, and made preliminary mix of “Carnegie Hill.” Reamped uke solo on “Some Other Time.”

Cut the chorus part of the instrumental break and trimmed some backing vocals on “Down to the Mountain,” and made a preliminary mix of “Sham Song.”

Reamped the ukulele on “All I Know” with Magnatone amp and ribbon microphone (final mix). Reamped Gans guitar part on “Moses” with (Princeton clone) Headstrong amp (final mix).

Gans added vocalese overdubs to “Zoo Wolves” (final mix).
