This record album has always been a vinyl LP in my mind. The whole experience of sliding it out of the sleeve, reading the liner notes or the lyrics while hearing side A for the first time, getting up to change the side, lying back down on the couch or making out, that was the vibe I was always going for, and if you help me get there I’ll sign one of the first 50 copies and send it to you the moment it’s ready.
The biggest challenge will be making a high-quality vinyl LP at a cost-effective price when the running time of the CD is a bit on the long side. Do we cut a song? Edit something. Live with a slightly thinner bass sound, compromising quality? Stay tuned.
