Amyellyn Kessler made her stage debut at the age of five in a community production of SOUTH PACIFIC and has since sung with opera companies and symphony orchestras in Milwaukee, New York, and the Bay Area. Equally proficient in jazz, rock, and punk, she is a solo recitalist, the bass singer for Triage, a professional church musician, and a fixture at the East Bay HOOT! monthly concerts. With husband Merle Kessler and friend Joshua Raoul Brody, Amy was one of The Platones (former house band for NPR’s “Philosophy Talk”) and the “chick singer” in the hit Ian Shoales show BROKE. Her hair is locally famous.
